Rachel A. Reddy

On Sunday May 21, 2023 Rachel Amanda Reddy passed away at the age of 28. She was the beloved daughter of Shelley and Matt Reddy, step-daughter of Susan Reddy, sister of Reily, James, and Emily Reddy, and granddaughter of Kay and Marty Messinger and Joan and John Reddy.

Her laughter and smile were contagious and she was deeply loved. She enjoyed reading books, listening to music, and was a graduate of Sycamore High School. Rachel was an avid foodie, especially when it came to McDonald’s cheeseburgers or Skyline Chili. She loved to travel, whether that be her adventures outside of the country or her summers spent in California.

Her joy and light will be missed by many. At the time of her passing, she was living at St. Joseph Home and throughout the years received warm and exceptional care from the staff there, as well as Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

The visitation will be held on Friday, June 2nd from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Gilligan Funeral Home (8225 Montgomery Rd). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 3rd at 10:00am at St. Margaret of York (9495 Columbia Rd).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Home (stjosephhome.org).
