Ned Larrick, (59) passed away on 10/2/23. Beloved husband of Felicity Larrick (nee White) and loving father of Grace White Larrick. Predeceased by his parents, Forrest Larrick and Betty Larrick (nee Schreck,) he leaves behind his dear sister Dr. Lori Simon (nee Larrick) and many loving in-laws and nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place on October 21st at 11am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7701 Kenwood Road, 45236 and a reception with follow at Terwilliger Lodge at 10530 Deerfield Road, 45242.
Ned was born in Cincinnati and grew up in Westwood. He graduated from Western Hills High School, where he was a varsity wrestler. He graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Business Administration, with a major in Marketing. At XU, he met many dear, life-long friends. He was a personable, conscientious sales representative for Enerfab, Inc. in the Power Maintenance Division, where he worked for 26 years.
Ned enjoyed sports, both participating (softball, tennis and bicycling were his favorites) and also spectating, especially cheering on his Musketeer basketball team (also the Reds and the Bengals.) He loved to garden and do things around the house but also enjoyed traveling and going out to enjoy live music and socialize with friends. He was active in his church, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and volunteered with various charities. A favorite volunteer position was serving on his Neighborhood Board, where he was in charge of keeping the public areas of his neighborhood beautiful for many years. Ned loved spending time with friends and family. He enjoyed meeting new people and was always interested in getting to know everyone he met.
He will be remembered as a gentle, kind man with a ready smile, a goofy sense of humor, a willingness to help and a genuine interest in others. He will be sorely missed.
