Kenneth J. Schneider, beloved husband of Janet (nee Heitkamp), lived life to the fullest before he left us for his next adventure on November 3, 2022, at the age of 85. Proud father to Amy (Jim) Hubbard, Beth (Rick) Naylor, and Emily Schneider Thompson. Legendary grandfather to Jake (Patty), Madison (Tony Giuffre), and Sam Hubbard; Griffin (Sarah), Kiley, Brynne, and Avery Naylor; and Ali and G Thompson. Loyal brother to Marilyn (Jim) Harris, Myra (Jim) Hey, Linda (Joe) Beck, and Joan (Ken) Eve. Caring uncle to many nieces and nephews and dubbed #greatestneighbor to all those on Tollgate Lane.
Ken was a graduate of St. Boniface in Northside, Roger Bacon High School where he was Class of 1955 Valedictorian, and Xavier University where he served as student council president and earned bachelors and MBA degrees. Upon graduation, Ken worked in Brand Management for Procter & Gamble while going to Salmon P. Chase Law School at night. After passing the bar, he fulfilled his dream of becoming an attorney and joined the law firm which is now known as Wood & Lamping. He practiced law for close to 50 years as a trusted and valued advisor, counselor, and mentor to many. During that time, he served as Law Director for Sycamore Township, and the cities of Mason, Springdale, and St. Bernard. He will be remembered for his generosity of spirit, gusto for life, love of travel, work ethic, and devotion to family and faith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday November 19, 2022, from 9 – 10:30 am at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road in Kenwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Road in Kenwood.
