Jeanne Marie Hannan

Jeanne M. Hannan, born in Boston, MA on Oct. 19, 1932 died peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Married to the love of her life, Richard Hannan, for 67 years. Mother of Hollie Hannan and Lauren Hannan Shafer. Nana to Isabelle Hannan Hudson, Sophie H. Hudson, Celie Marie Hudson, Mother-in-law of Thomas Shafer, step Grandmother of Lucy, Otto, Evelyn, and Agatha Shafer, sister of the late Anne Juodis and Walter Juodis.Graduated from BU Sargent College, attended Villanova Graduate School, taught physical education in York, PA, Weymouth, MA, Wilmette, IL and Philadelphia, PA which included teaching from first grade through college level over the years.She was a Board Member for Mercury Instruments for 10 years, member of the St. Gertrude Church and Kenwood Country Club for over 50 years, traveled around the world, experienced many adventures, enjoyed yearly vacations in Bermuda, snorkeling, tennis, travel, people, and had an overflowing love for family.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gertrude Church, 6543 Miami Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45243 at 1:30pm on April 24, 2021.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio 7625 Camargo Rd, Madeira OH 45243, Artworks Cincinnati 2460 Gilbert Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45206, or Twin Lakes Life Enriching Communities Foundation 9840 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
