Henry “Chip” Leesemann, of Independence, Kentucky passed away in his home on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the age of 55. Chip was the husband and best friend of Beth Leesemann (nee Johnston). He is preceded in death by his parents Henry “Hank” and Virginia “Ginny” Leesemann (nee Flottemesch). Father of Lauren (Zach) Sand, Logan Leesemann and AJ Leesemann. And fur babies Harley, Rosie, and Audrey. In addition to his wife and children, he leaves behind his grandchildren Oaklie Sand, Owen Dan, and Adrien and Hayden Yates. He is also survived by his brothers Dave Leesemann and Greg (Marietta) Leesemann, and sister Julie (Dan) Schufreider. His nieces, nephews, and Uncle John (Genevieve) Leesemann and the Burwinkel family were also near and dear to his heart.
Chip grew up in Montgomery, Ohio and attended All Saints School before going on to graduate from Moeller High School. He had an avid passion for his work as a Manufacturers Representative for Riverside Furniture where he worked for many years.
Chip created countless precious memories at Siesta Key Florida surrounded by his close family. He was known for his love of animals, the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and music. More than anything his generous and loving heart. He cherished his family and his friends. Chip always greeted you with his radiating smile and a big hug. He always left you with a big hug and a heart-felt “I love you.” Chip was a friend to everyone who ever met him.
Chip we will all miss you so much that words cannot express, but you will always live in our hearts.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Community of the Good Shepherd on Saturday, October 28 at 9am followed by a visitation at Gilligan Funeral home in Kenwood, OH. The burial will be immediately after at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery.
