Dorothy Fisher

Dorothy M. Fisher (nee Hammond), devoted mother to John Fisher and Bobbi Henson, loving grandmother to Theresa Courtney, Nicole Fredrick, Rachel Fisher and Eric Hennessey, and dear sister to Glen Hammond, passed away on August 20, 2022, at age 95.

Dorothy was pre-deceased by her husband, Robert Fisher; her parents, Verdie and Elva Hammond; her brothers Norman, Warner, Buford, Carl, Earl and Ralph Hammond; her sisters Vivian Robinson and Helen Stehlin; and her granddaughter Devon Bowling. 

Born on July 23, 1927, Dorothy grew up in Owen County, KY. She was an executive assistant with Totes Corp. and Sabin Robbins Paper Co. of Cincinnati.  She also worked as a teacher’s assistant for the Cincinnati Public Schools. She was an active member of the Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church.  She loved gardening, caring for children, cooking, reading, and music.  She had a quick wit and wry sense of humor. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
