Donna E. Zloba

Donna Elizabeth (née Buttelwerth) Zloba, born and raised in the North Fairmount neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023 in her Gulf Breeze, Florida home. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul John Zloba, with whom she shared an incredible love story that began in their sixth and seventh grades. Donna was a perfect mother to her four children, Donna, Paul, Mark, and Josh, an ideal mother-in-law to Darrell and Gullunaz, and a treasured grandmother to Cullen, Lexi, Sabri, and Leyla.

Donna’s entire life was devoted to the happiness of others. Her roots in the Catholic faith led Donna­ to the convent where she became a nun serving her community as a teacher. Before taking her final vows, she felt a calling to raise a family, at which point the love story between Donna and Paul continued. This blossomed into a life together dedicated to family and faith.

With the purest of hearts, Donna was a sweet, caring and charitable person to all who crossed her path. She was generous to family, friends and strangers in need, and never asked for anything in return. Her quiet, calm demeanor brought a peaceful feeling to anyone nearby, and her thoughts were never far from her family and God.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Donna on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 10:30 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45236. This will be followed by her burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
