Deborah K. Stires

Stires, Deborah Kay, age 68, of West Chester, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday August 6, 2023. She was born in Louisville, KY on May 21, 1955. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jeffrey Stires, and their two sons Jeffrey (Gabby) and Jordan (Jane). She is also survived by her adored grandson, Hendrix. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Cooper, and her father, whom she adored, Robert Cooper, as well as her best friend, Debbie Bottenhorn. Debbie attended Assumption Elementary, where she met her lifelong friend in the 5th grade, Margo Hall.

She attended McCauley High School and graduated in 1973. She then went on to attend UC Raymond Walters where she obtained her associate degree. She met her husband Jeff in 1977 at ITT Financial and they married on October 26, 1979 in Cincinnati at Assumption Church in Mt. Healthy. She worked for several years at Mercantile Savings Bank where she met another cherished friend, Paul Berzinski.

One of Debbie’s greatest joys in life was raising her children and a close second was taking care of her treasured animals.
