Dr. Winston H. Chang, passed away at the age of 91 in Montgomery, OH. He was born in Hunan, China in 1922 and came to the United States on a national scholarship in 1946. After receiving a PhD. at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, he worked at General Electric in Schenectady, NY, before transferring to GE Engineering Materials Technology Laboratory in Cincinnati. Over the course of 32 dedicated years, he received numerous patents and awards for jet engine metal alloy development. He was devoted to his children, participated in Scouting and coaching activities. He enjoyed traveling, poker and photography. He is survived by his wife Irene, children Helena, Arthur and Clifford, and grandchildren Jessica, Michael, Lily and Chloe. Memorial service will be held at the Twin Lakes Retirement Community Chapel Tuesday, July 16th at 4:00 PM, 9840 Montgomery Road.
