William (Bill) von Birgelen, age 58, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 2, 2013, after an extended illness. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on June 27, 1955, the son of the late Michael & Mary Lynn (McHugh) von Birgelen. Bill served in the Navy. He was married to Chris (Clarkson) Colyar in Boston, Massachusetts. The couple had two children. Bill also lived with his family in Erie, PA and went to McDowell High School before returning to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1982. Bill was easy going, a well-liked friend and loved by his family. He loved music and sports and he seemed to be able to recall stats and details at will. Bill was preceded in death by his sister: Lynn Marie von Birgelen, his mother: Mary Lynn, and his father: Michael von Birgelen. Bill is survived by his daughter: Loretta von Birgelen and granddaughter: Marilyn Rose, and son: William von Birgelen, His brother: Joseph von Birgelen and sister: Catherine von Birgelen-Sanzo (Nick) and many nieces and nephews.
