William C. Steiger, beloved husband of 58 years to LaVerne Steiger; devoted father of Kathy (John) Stengel, Teresa (Terry) Taylor, Mark (Susan Wise) Steiger, Karen (Fritz) Wilger and Todd (Heather) Steiger; proud grandfather to Christopher Stengel, Laura Gray, Brooke Taylor, Robin Steiger, Eric Steiger, Cole Wilger, Lee Wilger, Addie Wilger, Madilyn Steiger, Jack Steiger and Charlotte Steiger, and four great grandchildren, Katie, Abbie, Caleb and Elle and many nieces and nephews. Loving brother of Ralph Steiger, M.D. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Agnes Steiger and brothers Robert and Donald Steiger. He was born on February 23,1937 and graduated from St. Xavier High School and the University of Cincinnati, College of Engineering. During his 80 years of life he was a mechanical engineer and lived in Cincinnati, Ohio; Doylestown, Pennsylvania; Solon, Ohio and most recently Blue Ash, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, at 9:30 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Road (45236), until the mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101 or St. Xavier High School, 600 W. North Bend Road, Cincinnati, OH 45224.
