William Robert Shultz Jr. (Billy), husband of Cara Shultz, passed away Monday, May 25th, 2020 at the age of 28. Preceded in death by his beloved mother, Jane Shultz and grandparents George and Henrietta Krieg. Survived by his beloved father, William Robert Shultz Sr. and his beloved sister, Amber Brown, and by loving in-laws, Curtis, Barbara, and Justin Chaney. Billy was a graduate of Taylor High School in Cleves, Ohio. He earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Cincinnati where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He earned a Masters in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University, where he was an active member of Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business. He worked for CDK Global and then for Luxottica Retail. He recently took a position in analytics with West Chester Protective Gear. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th at Gilligan Funeral Home in Kenwood from 10 am until 1 pm with service to follow.In lieu of flowers, his family would like to invite people to donate to one of the organizations listed below that were near and dear to Billy's heart to honor his legacy. Billy passed away suddenly from a pulmonary embolism, so we invite people to consider making a donation to the National Blood Clot Alliance, which helps educate the community on the signs and symptoms of a blood clot, and also contributes to research efforts. All of Billy and Cara's pets came from local animal shelters and Billy had a huge love for dogs and cats, so consider donating to any local animal shelter in his name. Lastly, Billy had a passion for volunteering with and advocating for people with disabilities. Please consider making a donation to the Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati on his behalf.
