William J. Leugers, Sr., beloved husband of the late Eileen Craig Leugers, loving father of William J. (Linda) Jr., Thomas C. (Diane), Stephen M. (Karen), Michael (Maggie), James D. (Kim), Greg M. (Eileen) and Dan R. (Heidi) Leugers, and Kathryn (Joe) Little and Mary Jane Cassin. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Served in the Army Air Corps during WW II, training pilots in instrument usage, he was also a partner in the Leugers Furniture Company, opening and managing several stores. He also loved flying and anything to do with aviation, completely rebuilding an Aeronca Champ from the frame up. He was always eager to help others, volunteering his time, driving for the Cincinnati Association for the Blind. Departed Friday, October 15, 2010 at the age of 91. Visitation Tuesday, October 19 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Deer Park, from 9 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
