William Farlow, age 81, passed away on May 20, 2013. His family includes his devoted children Alasdair Farlow (Lisa) and Karen Epcke (Bradford) and his loving grandchildren Tatum Farlow, Pierce Farlow, Lauren Epcke and Mitchell Epcke. William is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jessie Farlow (nee. Nisbet). He was born in Glasgow, Scotland on August 2, 1931 and grew up in Rosyth, Scotland, attending Dunfermline High School with Jessie. William graduated magna cum laude from the University of Edinburgh with a Master of Arts in Geography and, after marrying Jessie, served four years as a lieutenant in the British army. During a 35 year career in market research with Procter and Gamble, he lived in Newcastle, London, Rome, and finally, Cincinnati, where he became a United States citizen in 1981. He traveled extensively with P&G and, after retiring and becoming a travel agent, expanded his travels to the four corners of the world. William's intellect and spirit of adventure will be missed.
