William C. "Bill" Ryan, of Cincinnati and Marco Island, Florida, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at his home, age 86. The son of William and Mabel (Meyer) Ryan of Norwood, he was a graduate of St. Xavier High School and the University of Cincinnati where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Bill was the president and owner of The Bryan Construction Co., Bryan Homes, and The Bryco Land Development Company and built homes and developed subdivisions in Montgomery/Symmes Township and Anderson Township. Prior to starting his construction companies, he owned Ryan's Cafe in Norwood, The Robin Hood Lounge in Pleasant Ridge and Friar Tuck's nightclub in Northgate. He is survived by his beloved wife Donna (Galvin) Ryan, nieces Sally (Steve) Akey, Kenny (Diana) LaRose, Stephen (Joan) Tino, Debbie Tino, Amy (Rob) Penny, Pam (Mark) Muller, his late niece Cathy Bingham's husband, Tom and his Dalmatian, Joey. His sisters, Catherine LaRose and Dorothy Tino, and his nephew Michael LaRose predeceased him. Services will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at St. Gertrude's Church in Madeira. Visitation from 8:30 am to 9:30 am with Mass to follow. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
