William "Bill" K. McCoy Jr., Beloved husband of Clara McCoy, father of David McCoy, Matthew McCoy and Kate McCoy and grandfather to Ryan McCoy. Bill was born on January 22, 1935 in Blue Island, Illinois. He passed into Eternal Peace & Joy on July 26, 2012. A Graduate of Wabash College Class of 1957, where he received letters in Basketball and Tennis. Upon graduating Wabash, he enlisted in the US Army and then completed his education with a Graduate Degree in Psychology from Lehigh University. Bill began his professional career working on the NASA Apollo Design Team and had a very successful 35 year career as a Marketing Executive for Defense Contractors including IBM, United Technologies and Grumman. He earned the respect of his customers and colleagues for his integrity and dedication. Jazz was a lifelong passion of Bill's. He earned his way through college playing Alto Sax and continued to play in bands through the 60's. He also loved high performance sports cars and sailing. But his biggest Passion was his Family and Friends he was loved by so many because of his ability to express and share his enthusiasm and his wonderful sense of humor Bill was a very tender and giving man who gave so much to so many as a loyal friend and mentor.
