Wayman Ralph Gilkeson

Wayman Ralph Gilkeson, age 69, passed peacefully at home November 30, 2025. Born September 8, 1956, in Raleigh County, West Virginia to Ralph and Isabelle Gilkeson, Wayman grew up and built his life and future in Cincinnati.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Teri; his children, Michele Bischoff & Wayman Ralph Gilkeson Jr, daughter in law Susan Gilkeson; his grandchildren Jacob, Breigh, and Jackson; two sisters, Drema Vanbuskirk (Gary) and Debra Durham (Jim); many nieces and nephews; and his beloved beagle, Annabelle. He is preceded by his parents and brother, Charles.

Wayman will be remembered for his storytelling, his unwavering willingness to help others, his love of history and his never-ending games of solitaire. His humble and steadfast nature were guiding pillars in his commitment to faith and family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Linwood Faith Tabernacle, 4950 Eastern Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45208. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11:00 am at the church, followed by a burial at Mt Moriah Cemetery.
