Wayland Sauer (nee Swango), beloved wife of the late William Clay Proffitt and Leonard Sauer, devoted mother of Ruth Eggleton of Fishers, IN, Courtney Proffitt of Cincinnati, OH and Claude Proffitt of Patriot, OH, dear stepmother of Leonard and Gary Sauer and Joan Jackson of Cinti, OH, loving sister of Louise Brown, preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters, survived by 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Monday, August 8, 2005 at the age of 91 years. Visitation from 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, August 10 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 3734 Eastern Ave. with Funeral Services in the Funeral Home at 11:30 A.M. Thursday.
