Holter, beloved husband of Margaret Moran Holter, devoted father of Gayle Holter (Zach Sances), Jon Holter, Heidi (David) Rose, Tim (Grace) Holter, Jeff Holter, Chris (Cathy) Shaft, Monica (Mitch) Gillman, Michael Daly, Barbara Daly and Lynn Holter, loving brother-in-law of Nancy Holter, dear brother of the late Willard Holter, also survived by many grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
