Obituary

Walter Steven Behrendt was born February 2, 1955 and died March 20, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his three loving children Craig Steven (Jennifer) Behrendt, Catherine Marie (Joshua) Pachko, and Chelsea Anne (Jeffrey) Behrendt; his ten beautiful grandchildren Carson, Gavin, and Ava Behrendt, Broderick, Ella, Jack, and Harrison Pachko, Alexander, Connor, and Mia Montano, his beloved sisters Rosalee "Sally" Behrendt, Babetta "Babs" (Joe) Woods, Kathy (Dan) Bernhard, Michelle "Shelley" (Bill) Gill, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Steve is preceded in death by his parents Walter E. and Zelpha (nee Adams) Behrendt, his sister Linda Strain, and brother Thomas (Linda) Behrendt.

Steve lived much of his life in Loveland, a city that he loved. His love of life was music, he was a drummer, especially 70's Rock 'n' Roll. Steve loved the outdoors, a cold beer,  a good campfire and he was an avid "griller" cooking for his family. Steve was a skilled machinist and retired from Relliance Medical . He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation, Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 1:00pm-2:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00pm - Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd 45236.
