Virginia Linz Zettel (nee Bennici), of Norwood, Ohio and Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully: November 05, 2018 at the age of 99 years. Virginia was born February 14, 1919, in Castelvetrano, Sicily to the late Samuel & Margherita Bennici. Cherished wife of the late Vincent H. Linz and John Zettel. Beloved mother of Patricia Linz Ladrigan, Vincent A. Linz, the late Margaret Linz Meyer, and the late Regina Linz. Devoted grandmother of Marlene Britton, cherished great-grandmother of Maggie Britton, dear aunt of David Pate, and Diane Skidmore. Virginia was also preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette Pate. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, as well as, an avid golfer, bridge player, and a beautiful, charismatic person & friend. Visitation will be held Monday, November 12th from 12:00 Noon until the Prayer Service at 1:00 PM, all at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236. (corner of E. Galbraith and Montgomery Roads in Kenwood). Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
