Virginia A. Bruhl (nee Galvin), age 93. Died September 18, 2003 at Mercy St. Theresa Center. Beloved wife of the late Gregory A. Bruhl and beloved sister of the late John E. Galvin Jr.. She leaves nieces and nephews, Donna Ryan, Marilyn Stewart, Virginia Lawson, John Galvin, Tommy Galvin; step-nieces and nephews Joyce James, Jeanne Hice, Margie Hail, Lou Schneider and John Schneider; grand-nieces and nephews Libby Galvin, Kate Stewart, Ben Stewart, Sean Lawson and Connor Lawson; great grand niece Emelie Elizabeth Stewart and cousins Betty Bauer and Shirley Taylor. Gin was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy Academy and The Athenaeum Teacher's College and was the first lay teacher at Nativity Elementary School in Pleasant Ridge where she was known as ''Miss Virginia''. She and her husband were founding members of All Saints Catholic Church in Kenwood. Visitation will be held Tuesday 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at All Saints Church in Kenwood with Mass of the Christian Burial immediately following. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Cincinnati Association of the Blind.
