Tim Ross, 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. He is survived by his loving family: His wife of 37 years, Patty (Collins); daughters Amy and Kelly; son Greg; mother and father, Barb and John Ross; sister Debbie James (Ted); brothers Chris (Luann) and Jeff; mother-in-law Margie Collins; sister-in-law Peggy Gaier (Mark); brother-in-law Jim Collins (Lisa); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends. Tim's love and faith in God was strong, and he trusted in God's plan for his life. Tim was an avid reader and lifelong learner who loved history, traveling the back roads, and discovering new things. He enjoyed making chocolate chip cookies and jambalaya for friends. He was dedicated to his work and passionate about growing new businesses. But his greatest joy was spending time with his family: Hiking with Patty, his college sweetheart, fishing with Kelly, flea market shopping with Amy, and attending many sporting events with Greg. Throughout his life, he exhibited kindness and compassion to others and he was especially appreciative of the oncology physicians, nurses, hospital staff, and friends who helped him and his family during his few months of illness. Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2017, from 7:00 9:00 PM at Guardian Angels Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Guardian Angels Church, 6531 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45230.
