Timothy J. Gaughan, beloved son, brother and uncle, formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away April 23, 2014 at the age of 57 in Cincinnati after a brief illness. He will be greatly missed by father, Eugene of Collingswood, NJ, sisters Deborah Colburn of Loveland, Ohio, Kathleen Alter (Sherman) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Donna Emans (Max) of Marion, Ohio, Patricia Hare (Tom) of Medford, NJ, brother Daniel Gaughan (Kathy) of Chandler, AZ, 10 nieces and nephews, and 6 great-nieces and great-nephews. Tim was predeceased by mother Eleanore, brother Wayne, 1 niece and 2 great-nephews, whom he has now joined in heaven. Tim attended MARCA in Marion, Ohio and was an Ohio Special Olympian, before attending the Occupational Training Center in Berlin, NJ for 30 years. He loved being with family, dancing at weddings and listening to his favorite music by Prince, Elton John, Elvis and Billy Joel. He was thrilled to be "an uncle now!" and proud to sport a Philadelphia Flyers shirt every day. Tim touched many people. His sense of humor and gentle ways will be dearly missed. Visitation will be at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236 on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 10:30AM to 12 noon, with prayer service to follow. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions in Tim's memory to ARC of Camden County NJ, 215 N. White Horse Pike, Berlin Twp, NJ 08009 or Marion County Special Olympics, 2387 Harding Highway East, Marion, OH 43302. The family also extends heartfelt thanks to Tim's special friends Theresa and Henrietta.
