Thomas Joseph Kennedy, 72, of Loveland, Ohio, on January 15, 2015, of Parkinson's disease. Kennedy is formerly of Syracuse, New York; Louisville, Kentucky; Montgomery, Ohio; and Brookfield, Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joan Colby Kennedy; his daughter, Mary Kaye (Greg) Spore; his sons Tom (Odessa), Matt (Tara), Jim, and Pat (Kate); and nine grandchildren: Jack, Scottie, Fara, Matthew, Megan, Abby, Aubrey, P.J., and Ryan. Kennedy also is survived by his sister Ellen (Mike) Byrne; his brothers Tim (Robin) and Chris (Mi); his sister-in-law, Gail Kennedy; his brother-in-law, Larry (Ginny) Colby; and many nieces and nephews. Kennedy was preceded in death by his parents, James M. and Mary C. (Behan) Kennedy, and his brother Jim. Prior to retirement, Kennedy was vice president of sales for Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation, where he worked for 37 years. He co-founded Moeller High School's lacrosse program, serving as head coach of the varsity squad for 13 years. In recognition of his contributions as a coach, he was elected to the Moeller Athletic Hall of Fame and Ohio Lacrosse Hall of Fame, and he was named Coach of the Year by both the Ohio High School Lacrosse Association and the Midwest High School Lacrosse Association. Visitation will be at The Community of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 East Kemper Road, on Tuesday, January 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral mass begins at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Moeller High School, Crossroads Hospice and Tri-state Parkinson's Wellness Chapter.
