Thelma Elizabeth Sperber (nee Frey), born in Cincinnati, Ohio January 7, 1912, died peacefully in her home in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, January 28, 2006. Thelma is the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Sperber Jr. and the devoted mother of Joseph J. III (and his wife Valerie Quandt) Sperber of East Williston, New York; Rosemary (and her husband John) Blase of Huntington Woods, Michigan; and Thomas S. (and his wife Kathy Covey) Sperber of Cincinnati. Thelma is the dear grandmother of Joseph IV (Georgina) Sperber, Paul (Teresa) Sperber, Andrew (Elizabeth) Sperber, Gretchen (Eric) Blase Kreidler, John Jr. (Jen) Blase, Gregory Blase, Thomas Jr. (Mary) Sperber, and Michael (Nicole) Sperber, and the devoted great grandmother of Covey, Paul Jr., Anya, Havana, and Anne Sperber. Thelma ('Tamie'') is the daughter of the late Julius and Katherine Frey and the last surviving sister of Arthur (Jane Neville) Frey, Marian (Abraham) Cohen ('Mootsie''), Dorothy (Charles) Clemens (''Dee Dee''), Helen (Charles) Leesman ('Bizzie''), Catherine (F. Clifford) Wright ('Rena''), Marcella (Mickey) Meifert ('Tootsie''), Adolf Frey, Gilbert Frey and Grace Frey, and the loving cousin of the late Ruth (nee Clemens) Brown ('Aunt Ruthie''). Thelma is the dear daughter-in-law of the late Joseph J. Sr. and Rose Mary (nee Thole) Sperber and the loving sister-in-law of the late Ruth (Arnold) Hackman, (Irven) Klug. The family is grateful for the tender care provided for Mom by Pam, Rose D. II, Sherry, Terrie and many others. Visitation at All Saints Church, Wednesday, February 1st from 9 A.M. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M.
