Thelma Griesinger (nee Gilkey). 83, a resident of Twin Lakes Retirement Community in Montgomery, OH, passed away Friday December 29, 2017 of a stroke. She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Griesinger, a sister, Mary Ann (Kent) McDonald of Los Angeles, CA, and a brother, Bill (Jackie) Gilkey of Bloomington, IN and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Thelma was born in Bardstown, KY, grew up in Maysville, KY and attended St. Patrick's Church/School there. She graduated from Edgecliff College (AB) and Xavier University (Masters), and taught for 30 years at St. John the Evangelist in Deer Park, OH. In keeping with Thelma's final wishes, there will be a private burial ceremony for family members only. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date at the Chapel at Twin Lakes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Twin Lakes Pastoral and Benevolent Care Fund, 9840 Montgomery Road, Montgomery, OH 45242.
