Thaddeus "Ted" John Kaczmarowski

Thaddeus “Ted” John Kaczmarowski, 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026 surrounded by his family. Ted was born on June 10, 1940 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Thaddeus and Frances Kaczmarowski. He grew up on a family farm outside Milwaukee and developed a strong work ethic and love of the outdoors that stayed with him throughout his life. After graduating from Notre Dame High School, Ted attended Marquette University where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. His first job was as a civil engineer for the Wisconsin Highway Department. He later enjoyed a successful career in construction and store planning with Kroger and Home Depot. Ted was an avid golfer, fisherman, and world traveler. He was generous with his time and resources as a volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association in Florida. Ted shared 40 happy years with his high school sweetheart, Carolyn Jean DeBattista, who preceded him in death in 2001. He is survived by their four sons: Stephen, James, Andrew and Peter and eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter as well as his sister, Dorothy Sdano. He was preceded in death by his second wife of 23 years, Sharon, his parents, and his brothers George and Richard. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 12th at St. Gertrude Parish (6543 Miami Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45243) at at 12 o’clock followed by a mass at St. Gertrude Parish at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ted’s name to the Alzheimer's Association. Ted will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
