Terry M. Tranter

Terry M. Tranter passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025 at age 81 surrounded by love.

Terry was the beloved husband of Doris Tepe Tranter for 57 years as they met and began dating in high school and ultimately getting married in 1968. Terry was the loving father of Amy Thornton (Eddie), Terry W. Tranter (Amy), Michael Tranter, and Christopher Tranter (Katie). Terry was the beloved Grandfather of Jack Thornton, Nick Tranter, Michael D. Tranter, Alyssa Tranter, James Tranter, Abby Tranter, and Kylie Tranter. Terry was also survived, loved, and cherished by Nydia Tranter (Stepmother); Siblings Darlene Anderson (Jeff), Richard Tranter (Nydia); and Siblings-in-laws William Tepe (Cathy), Elizabeth Myers (Timothy), and Kenneth Tepe; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Terry was predeceased by his parents Jack and Florence Tranter and his brother John. Terry deeply valued and was dedicated to his family throughout his life.

A visitation will be held on Friday December 26, 2025, from 9am to 10am followed by a Catholic Mass promptly at 10am at Saint Xavier Church, 611 Sycamore St., Cincinnati OH 45202
