Sylvester 'Wes' C. Stenger, 84, beloved husband of 59 years to Viola Stenger, loving father of Kenneth J.(June), David A. (Kim) Stenger, Kathy (Keith) McMahan, Janet (Kevin) Jester of Cincinnati, Melvin D. Stenger of Oakland, CA and Kevin J.(Pat) Stenger of Sunman, IN, dear brother of Earl, Theodore, Jake, Anthony, Joan and the late Joseph and Melvin. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Passed away October 24, 2006. Wes was a Command Sergeant Major of the Ohio Army National Guard; retired, a charter member of American Legion Post # 464, St. Leon, IN, member of the Knights of Columbus, Cincinnati, OH., member of VFW Post # 3744, Deer Park, OH, and Voitures 40 & 8, Aurora, IN. Visitation will be at St Saviour Church, Myrtle Ave at Plainfield Rd, Saturday October 28th from 9 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society c/o St. Saviour Church.
