Steve J. Davids, of Indian Harbour Beach, Fl, age 69, passed away January 5, 2021. He was the loving husband of Kathleen McGraw-Davids (formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio). He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard Davids and Ethel Davids. He is survived by his step-mother Ester Davids of Kiryat Hayyim, Israel, son Michael Davids, and grandsons Chase and Jack Davids all of Overland Park, Kansas.Steve loved his role as a McGraw family "outlaw". Dear son-in-law of John McGraw, Ft Thomas, Kentucky, and Florence McGraw, Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters-in-law Patricia (late William) Luken and Kerry (Paul) Beeber; brothers-in-law Michael (Donna) McGraw, John (Angie) McGraw, and the late Kevin McGraw. Steve is also survived by ten nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews, all of whom brought him great pride, amusement and joy.Steve was a first generation American, born in Toledo, Ohio on March 17, 1951. Steve grew up in Chicago, Illinois and resided in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, California, before moving to Indian Harbour Beach Florida in 1981. Steve enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17 and proudly served from 1968-1972. Steve often said that the Marine Corps saved his life. After graduating from California State University, Northridge, Los Angeles, California, Steve spent his career as a CPA and auditor for the Department of Defense, Defense Contract Audit Agency, retiring in 2006.In 2007, Steve received the gift of a kidney transplant from an anonymous donor that saved his life.
