Shirley (Roesch) Haggerty passed away peacefully on Monday, November 15, 2021, at the age of 86, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 22, 1935, in Cincinnati, to the late Rudolph and Olive Roesch.

Shirley was a loving wife of 65 years to William Andrew Haggerty, devoted mother to Brian (Anne), Amy (Keith) Swensen and the late Beth (Sam) McKinney. She was a cherished grandmother to Katie (Chris) Unkraut, Jeffrey (Marie) Stuart, Jennifer, Maggie (David) Evans, Benjamin, Kyle (Margaret) Swensen, Andrea Swensen, and Abby Swensen, and proud great grandmother of 7.

Shirley was a 1952 graduate of Withrow High School and a 1955 graduate of Miami University, majoring in home economics and minoring in chemistry. She loved to garden, cook, bake, sew, play cards, and bowl. Most of all, she loved spending time with and talking about her family.

An open house celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Tues., Nov. 30th, 5 - 8 pm at Montgomery Inn – 9440 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati OH 45242. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served and there will not be a formal program.
