Clanton (nee Langefels), Sheila M., beloved wife of Paul L. Clanton for over 51 years, devoted mother of Guy (Lindsay) Clanton, the late Jennifer Clanton, and Elizabeth "Betsy" Clanton; proud and adoring grandmother to Laura, Caroline, Elizabeth "Lizzie", Jenny and Alex; loving sister to Thomas (Glenda) Langefels and Lawrence (Beth) Langefels. Sheila attended St. Gertrude School and Regina High School in Cincinnati. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton in Medical Technology.

Among her various joys were fresh flowers in bloom especially, tulips, peonies and lilies of the valley. She enjoyed cheering on the Reds, Bengals and the UD Flyers. And she was an outstanding baker. But her greatest loves were her children and grandchildren whom she particularly enjoyed reading to at a young age.

Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 11 at 1:00PM at St. Gertrude Church, 6543 Miami Avenue, Madeira. Visitation will take place from 12:00PM to 1:00PM in the adjacent St. Gertrude Parish Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jennifer Kathryn Clanton Memorial Fund for Hodgkins Lymphoma at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
