Sharon Lynn Maynard

Sharon Lynn Maynard, 70, passed away on June 27, 2026, in Middletown, OH.

She was born on October 9, 1955 in Cincinnati, OH, to Huey James Davis and Hazel (Barrett) Davis. She was raised and loved by Hazel and Chester McGowan.

Sharon graduated from Sycamore Highschool in 1973. She worked many jobs, but went on to start her career as a dispatcher for the Brewer Company for 30 years.

She was best known for her sense of humor, her kindness, love for others, her quick wit, her beautiful singing voice and virtues too numerous to list. She was a loyal friend, a dog lover, a lover of travel and the ocean. She loved watching true crime, reading voraciously (specifically Stephen King), and watching movies with her daughter and anyone who liked a good action movie. Sharon loved her family and spending time with her brother, sister-in-law, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Krystal Siemon, son-in-law Ben, and grandson Finnegan ; Her brother Roger McGowan,and her sister-in-law Susan McGowan.

She is preceded in death by both her parents Hazel and Chester whom she loved dearly.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Sharon’s life on August 8, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati.
