Sarah Marvin (nee Kellner), beloved wife of the late Charles Duvall, dear sister-in-law of Virginia Kellner, loving sister of the late Robert Leo Kellner, dear aunt of Jerry, John, Richard and George Kellner, Joan Vogel, Rose Henson, Teela Angel, the late Virginia Overberg and Robert L. Kellner. Friday, December 2, 2005 at the age of 102 years. Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 7 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd. at Galbraith. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Thursday in the Funeral Home. Interment following at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Sarah received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Cincinnati College of Music under Dr. Albino Gomo and later studied with Milc Nadia Boulanger and Robert Casedusus at the American Conservatory Ai Fountainbleau, France. She had music studios in Hamilton and Cincinnati, teaching thousands of students for over 70 years. She had recital performances on WCPO TV. She was a member of the Ohio Music Teachers Association of the Southwest District where she was honored on her 100th birthday. She was the founder of the Sarah Marvin Foundation, which sponsored the Classical Piano Concert Series at Xavier University. Sarah's love for music touched thousands of lives. She was the owner of the Marvin Hotel in Hamilton.
