Sanda Lee (Griffith) Wilburn, age 85 of Blue Ash, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Sanda, born January 20, 1931 in Bluefield, West Virginia, was proceeded in death by her loving husband, L. Thomas Wilburn, Jr., her son, Thomas Kevin Wilburn and her parents, August Edward Griffith and Emily (Wilkins) Parsons. Sanda is survived by her children Annette Morical, Teresa (Joe) Butler, Lauri Ann Sloneker and Casey (Leanne) Wilburn. Her grandchildren Kristy, Emily and Scott Morical; Jamie (Pat) Quigley, Jenny (Dale) Krauser, Jason (Megan) Butler, Justin Butler; Ashley and Shelby Sloneker; and Caleb Wilburn; along with her 19 great-grandchildren and her half sisters Judy (Griffith) Wilburn, Debby (Griffith) Shupe, Robin (Griffith) McElwee; Sanda was a graduate of Beaver High School and Bluefield Business College in West Virginia. She was secretary to the president of Pocahontas Bank prior to meeting and marrying Tom. She was a devoted wife and mother and a driving force behind her husband's successful career at TriHealth. Sanda enjoyed cooking and was a member of the Blue Ash Gourmet Group. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends. She will be missed by many. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd. at Galbraith from 9 to 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM, All Saints Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to the Bethesda Foundation or Hospice of Cincinnati.
