Sally Pruden-Morris was the loving mother of six children: Elizabeth (David Bagent), JM, Tom, Rosemarie (Myron Rosmarin), John (Shelly Powers), and Bob (Lisa) with 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Morris. She was a volunteer with military personnel in Japan in 1952 and Hungarian refugee children in Dachau, Germany in 1957. She was a teacher at Deer Park High School, director of counseling at the College of Mt. St. Joseph, professor at Xavier University, and a psychologist. She had extra love for special needs children. Following her successful career, she was an accomplished artist. Memorial Visitation from 4 to 6 PM on Thursday, October 20 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Mongtomery at Galbraith. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Sally Pruden Special Education Award at Xavier University. She will be deeply missed.
