Ruth A. Riesterer (nee O'Hara), Beloved wife of the late Joseph Riesterer, devoted mother of Cynthia and Mark Riesterer, loving grandmother of Matthew, Chandler and Conner Riesterer. Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Visitation Monday, March 14 from 10 to 11 AM at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd. at Galbraith followed by services at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 11000 Montgomery Rd. Perhaps these are not stars in the sky at all But rather openings Where our loved ones shine down To let us know they are happy. We know Ruth knew this. Her beautiful compassion for animals Was but one example of her love. With love, all things endure, For though they may pass from this earth, They live on in the hearts Of those who loved them.
