Ruth M. Norris (ne Schmitt) passed away on January 10, at the age of 97 years. Wife of the late Richard E. Norris, devoted mother of Patty (Les) Kappel, Rick, Cindy (Sonny) Tudor, and Jack (Patty) Norris. Loving grandmother to Laura, Lynn, Robin, Chris, Steve, Elizabeth, Robbie, Brett, and Bailey. Dear great-grandmother to Connor, Skylar, Nina, Morgan, Michael, Kamva, Melo, Andrew, Emma, Charlotte, Ella and Robert. Survived by sister, Lorraine (Larry) Goefft, sister-in-law Verna Schmitt, and brother-in-law Robert Kahsar. Preceded in death by sister Vera Kahsar, and brothers Bob and Earl Schmitt. Ruth lived a full and happy life. She enjoyed being active well into her 90s, playing golf, bowling, and playing bridge. She enjoyed traveling with her friends. Visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 from 8:30 am at St. Gertrude Catholic Church until Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am.
