Ruth Janice Creahan (nee Winterman), beloved wife of the late David J. Creahan, devoted mother of David Jr. (Elise) Creahan, Tom (Sherrie Davison) Creahan, Mary (John) Shorten, Kathy (David) Funke, Julie (Steve) Marquardt, Kevin Creahan, Ann (John) Herder, John (Deb Cronheim) Creahan and the late Lisa Creahan, dear sister of Helen Mae Marino and Thomas Winterman, also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was valedictorian at St. Ursuline class of 1935, and earned a BS degree from University of Cincinnati, 1939. Departed Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the age of 91. Visitation Wednesday, January 7 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 2926 Woodburn at Lincoln from 11:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Thomas Geiger House, or the Church of the Assumption, 2622 Gilbert Ave., Cinti 45206.
