Rosemary Geers (nee Cox), 94, died Thursday, March 10, at her home in Amberley Village. She was the beloved wife of Paul Geers, who preceded her in death; cherished mother of Paula (John) McIntosh, Mark (Anne), Alice, Dan (MaLissa), Connie Nicolas and Andrew. Graduated from Regina High School and Our Lady of Cincinnati College (magna cum laude), also known as Edgecliff. She taught history at Mother of Mercy High School before her marriage and later served as a remedial reading teacher at St. John the Evangelist School in Deer Park. Survivors include loving grandchildren Francie (John) MacCauley, Lauren (Dan) Kelley, Emily (Ryan) Faehnle, Paul (Laura) Geers; Greg, Mark and Cara Nicolas; Cecilia Geers; and Alex McIntosh. Her treasured great-grandchildren are Ava, Jackson, Dylan, Will and Olivia. Rosemary was the sister of Ruth Heider and sister-in-law of James Heider, both deceased, and aunt to James Heider, Jr. (Ann). Rosemary was a devout Catholic who was committed to social justice; she gave everything to her family and will be forever loved. The family thanks Hospice of Cincinnati nurses and staff for their tender care. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Deer Park, on Saturday, March 19 at 11:00 a.m.; visitation at the church at 9:30. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Special Olympics or St. John the Evangelist Church, Deer Park.
