Rosemary "Rosie" Cox (nee Fitzgerald), age 92, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 27th, 2018. Rosemary was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on April 4th, 1926. Rosemary will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Monica Faw, her brother, Edward Fitzgerald and her entire extended family. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents Walter C. and Roseline Fitzgerald, her brothers Patrick & Thomas Fitzgerald and her daughter, Veronica Armstrong. Rosie loved her family and her family loved her very much. She worked at a number of hospitals most notable Christ hospital and the Jewish hospital before retiring from the nursing profession. During her working years, Rosie was blessed to be able to deliver some of her newborn nieces and nephews into this world. Rosie enjoyed traveling and people were always amazed at the details about her trips when she shared stories with family and friends. Her memory remained very sharp throughout her entire life. Rosie always looked forward to playing card games with her friends, she was known to be a social butterfly. She enjoyed venues with big band music and fine dining. She was an avid golfer and cherished the time she was able to play at Pebble Beach Golf course in California. Rosie was a tough-minded, hardworking, determined, successful woman supported by her faith and strong Irish personality. Rosie will be missed by all of her family and friends!! A memorial donation may be given to the Hospice of Cincinnati on Cooper Road.
