Rosemary M. Beck Counts, beloved wife of 60 years to the late Melvin Counts. Devoted mother to , Melvin Counts Jr., Denise Hill (Bruce), James Counts, Cathy Counts (Tom Mertens), and the late Cheryl Rose Walden. Adored Grandmother to Rose, Deana, Joani, Lauren, Patrick, Erin, Jordan, Christina, Bruce, Brittany, Jennie, Jim, and Emily, and 8 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late James and Ruth (Wical) Beck. Dear sister of Helen Spencer and Theresa Fultz. Rosemary was passionate about teaching and learning. She positively impacted the lives of many individuals throughout her 40 years of service as an educator. Thirty of those years were dedicated to the Deer Park City Schools. Departed Friday, December 20 at the age of 82. Visitation 5 to 8 PM on Monday, December 30 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery at Galbraith. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 31 at Bellarmine Chapel of Xavier University. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
