Ronald Gunn was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 16, 1953 and passed peacefully in his sleep on October 31, 2025.

Ron was educated at Moeller High School and attended Xavier University. He was a gifted carpenter and worked in the building and remodeling trades. He took pride in the homes and additions he crafted. Ron enjoyed helping friends, neighbors and family with household projects. He was a member of St. Gertrude Parish and volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America.

He is survived by his former wife Christine Gunn; his children Tricia (Jason) Woitha, Matthew Gunn and Stephen Gunn (Logan Cook); his grandchildren Izaak and Cecelia Woitha; sisters Diane (Jim) Tomaszewski, and Barbara (Tony) Carpinello; brothers, Bill Gunn and Kevin Gunn; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ann Gunn; and sisters Maureen (Ronald) Hutchinson and Mary (William) Knause.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society , 6543 Miami Ave, Cincinnati OH 45243.

A visitation will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. on November 5, 2025 at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45236.
