Robert Nelson Smithson, died on September 26, 2007 at the age of 93. Retired from United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 0002. He was preceded in death by his wife Alberta (Schaefer) Smithson and son Ronald. Devoted father of Robert (Georgene) Smithson, Mary Lou (Bill) Smith, Katherine (Charles) Gable, Richard (Eunice) Smithson, Raymond (Jill) Smithson, Marcia (Lou) Goyette, Barbara (Mark) Carstens. Thirty-five grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Visitation from 6:00PM to 9:00PM on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd. at Galbraith. He will be cremated and buried with his wife Alberta.
