Robert J. "Bob" Kenney, Sr. passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the age of 88. Loving husband of Marjorie, devoted father of the late Robert "Bobby" Jr. (Kelli) and Vickie (Gary). Stepfather to Bruce, Sr., Gloria (Bob), the late Gladys, Pete (Sheila), Lorena (Billy), Maria (Lou). He also leaves behind several grandchildren and many friends.Bob attended St. Xavier High School and graduated from Xavier University with a degree in Accounting, after which he worked as an accountant for 40 years. After retirement, he worked as a part-time crossing guard for three grade schools for 13 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Bob loved his family and was very caring, thoughtful, generous, and was always willing to help others. He loved to make people laugh and was fun to be with. He enjoyed music and when he was younger, played the drums in a band at The Ohio Club, VFW halls, American Legions, and weddings. He also enjoyed playing softball with family & friends in the church league in the 70s. He attended many baseball games to watch his son and grandchildren.Visitation will be at 9:30am on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at St. Margaret-St. John Catholic Parish, 6000 Murray Rd, Cincinnati 45227 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, with burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1100 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati 45249.Due to Covid restrictions, face masks and social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
