Loving father-in-law of Ruthie Barnes. Cherished grandfather of Joel (Summer), Sean (Catherine) Barnes, Holly Barnes, Michael & Zachary Barr, Erica (Timo) Humphrey, Robert Moertle, Megan Kuhn, Trenton & Madison Butz, Maxwell & Emily Hanna. Great-grandfather of Caitlyn, Jacob and Tyler Barnes. Robert is preceded in death by two wives, Elizabeth Barnes (nee Schuette) and Fran Barnes (nee Duffey) and one son, Kenneth Barnes. Departed on October 23, 2014 at the age of 92. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 26 from 6:00 9:00 PM at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd. at Galbraith. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, October 27 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Church, 8939 Montgomery Rd. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
