Rita Lee Seifert (nee Lena Rita Sansone), wife of Bob Seifert, mother of RJ, Gregory, and Jeffrey. Rita Lee is survived by her loving husband of 66 years and 3 sons and their wives, Patty, Carolyn, and Marybeth. Rita was a devoted grandmother and great grandmother to Robert Stadtmiller, Scott Seifert, Kristin Smith (Seifert), Mark Seifert, Chris Seifert, Jenny Seifert, Sara Seifert, Michael Seifert, Chase Seifert, Zachary Seifert, Katie Seifert, Carter Smith, Evan Smith and Olivia Seifert. Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother was affectionately known as Nonnie. Nonnie loved to cook, garden, entertain, and most of all, loved everyone who crossed her path. Italian spaghetti sauce, strawberry pie and chocolate chip cookies were Nonnie's specialties. No one ever left her house with an empty stomach. Prior to motherhood, Rita managed her father's grocery store, Sansone's Market, and also was employed at General Electric (Evendale) and the University of Cincinnati. Rita passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23, 2016. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Gilligan Funeral Home in Kenwood (45236) with a Mass of Christian burial following at St. Vincent Ferrer Church at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Mount Notre Dame High School or to St. Vincent Ferrer Roman Catholic Church.
