Rita Jane Brandner (nee Brown), age 86 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 9, 2008. Rita was the loving mother of Robert J. (Barb) Brandner and John (Karen Thompson) Brandner; devoted grandmother of her muffins Stephanie, Stephen and Jenna Brandner; great-grandmother to Baby Madison. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Robert E., parents Edith and George Brown, brothers Donald and Joseph and sister Margaret Tyrrell. Rita will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews and many close friends. Rita was a long time resident of Madeira, formerly of Madisonville. She was a past president of St. Gertrudes Rosary Altar Society, Moeller High Schools PTA and a 30 year member of Kenwood CC. Visitation will be at St. Gertrude Catholic Church Parish Center, 7630 Shawnee Run Road, Madeira on Saturday, January 12 from 8:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
