Richard J. Garascia, 89, died at Eastgate Healthcare Center on Tuesday, July 31, 2007. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy. Beloved father of Sr. Mary Garascia, Charles (Sandra), Lawrence (Janet), Steven (Susan), Sarah (Mike Seidler), Anthony (Beth) and Robert (Candice); four sisters, Angelina, Josephine, Rosemary and Eleanor; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Gilligan Funeral Homes, 2926 Woodburn Avenue on Sunday, August 5 from 3 to 5 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 A.M. on Monday, August 6 at Bellarmine Chapel, Xavier University, 3801 Ledgewood Drive on the campus of Xavier University.
